Artisan Flute Jewelry and More will be at the 2007 NFA Convention in Albuquerque, NM. Come to booth 1400 to see all of my new and favorite designs. Also, I will be showcasing my extended technique workbook Flutastics, and musical improvisation cards Ink Bops on Thursday at 10:45 am. I use sterling silver, 14K gold and semi-precious or precious stones to create my one of a kind flute jewelry. Some parts are cast using the lost wax method. Look closely at the rings and you will see small brass bolts and screws! I combine the fine metals with either authentic Alpaca silver flute parts from Eva Kingma Flutes www.kingmaflutes.com or sterling silver keys that I cast from her originals. The ebony wood rings are from Chris Abell flute blanks www.abellflute.com. Just waiting to be incorporated into a design are leather scraps from flute cases made by Northwind Cases www.northwindcases.com in Arizona! |
